The table below lists the performance data for my mature ewes through 2016.  The Weight of the ewe has been adjusted to Body Condition Score 3 - values tend to increase for the yearling ewes.  The Finish Weight of the lambs is different than previous years.  Lambs that achieve a weight of 145 lbs at 140 days are marketed.  Lambs that do not reach that weight are fed for another 40 days.  Finish weight values are for the 2010 -2016 years only.  The Feed to Finish lamb is the pounds of grain needed to take the lamb from weaning to the indicated market weight; it is based on the lambs growth rate and time in the feedlot.

Percentile rankings are included in the table below.  The perentiles are from a pool of all ewes born between 2004-2014.  Ewes born in 2014 and 2015 are not yet ranked.  When evaluating percentiles, it is very important to consider the age of the ewe.  Ewes in over the 80th percentile at 5 years or older are of considerable value.  Young ewes with high values  have great potential, but a bad year can ruin their rankings.

Pictures of ewes are taken on occasion.  View available pictures by clicking the blue-colored tag numbers.  If there is an ewe that you are interested in seeing a photo, but it is not presented, let me know and we'll add one.

Below is the estimated values for the ewe lambs I retained in 2015.  The estimates are pretty high in large part because I had some great sires.
